Syracuse Fashion Shoot.....

What an amazing fashion shoot with the gorgeous Megan Mahaney. She is a multi-talented woman! Model, makeup artist and aspiring photographer as well. I don't typically shoot a lot of fashion so this was really fun for me. I was shooting for more of an editorial fashion theme and I think I accomplished that. I have so many images from this session that I absolutely LOVE. And of course, it helps when you have a gorgeous model that knows how to pose and work the camera.

We headed to downtown Syracuse on a beautiful, overcast spring day. It was the perfect light for our session. The giant softbox in the sky. Even though we got off to a somewhat rocky start ( Megan got a little lost, lol ) the session was one of my best!

And boy did we get some attention. Megan is gorgeous and six feet tall so the heads were turning and people would stop to talk to her. I'm pretty sure she may have caused a few accidents as well.

Here are just a few from our session together. Lots more on my Facebook here.

Desi { model shoot }...

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to blog about my Urban shoot with Desi. I've shot with her a few times and always enjoy it. Last couple shoots were at the beach, one in Oswego and one at Chimney Bluffs. This time I wanted her in an urban setting. I've know Desi since she was 8 years old. I can always count on her to model for me. She has a great personality and a fresh, modern style to go along with it.

So of course we shot in downtown Syracuse, lol. Brought along some fun fashions and walked around until we found cool locations. We were lucky enough to have the perfect weather too. That always helps.

Here are a few from the shoot.

We actually got in trouble for this one. Who knew we were on Federal property? I just like the concrete.

Molly - Downtown Syracuse...

How lucky am I? I keep finding all of these gorgeous, talented models. They make my job so much easier.

This is Molly. She's another model from Rochester. And also great to work with. Awesome with her facial expressions and posing. I had a hard time choosing the images for this post too.

We did a shoot in downtown Syracuse (sorry my favorite place). I just love downtown and prefer to shoot on location using natural light when possible. Just walk a few blocks and you find all kinds of cool backgrounds and locations.

I'm hoping to work with Molly again sometime soon.

I had this one printed as a 16x20. It is proudly hanging in my studio...

Christina - Urban Model Shoot...

My first time shooting with Christina from Rochester. All I can say is "WOW". She is an amazing model to say the least. So easy to work with and great with her posing. And a fantastic personality too.

We did an Urban Style shoot in downtown Syracuse. I had so many great images from this shoot it was hard to choose which ones to post. I even used one of the images on my personal Comp Card.

Watch for more of Christina! She'll be everywhere. And will be featured on a billboard in the Rochester area soon. Visit her on Model Mayhem here.

Renee & Billy - Fitness Shoot...

A fitness themed shoot with models Renee and Billy at Onondaga Lake Park. We had a blast during this shoot and these two really did get a work out that day. I made them do everything at least three times so I was sure to get the shots I wanted. I think we were all exhausted after this 2+ hour shoot. Check out Billys' fitness site here. I'm hoping to shoot with Billy again in the studio soon and I have another shoot with Renee in a couple weeks. Stay tuned!

Kendra - Downtown Syracuse

Introducing Kendra...her personality and natural beauty really shines in these images. We had a fantastic time shooting downtown on Saturday. The weather was perfect, cloudy with soft, diffused natural light. It was hard choosing my favorites. It always is. I'm looking forward to our second shoot in May.

We found some great new locations during our shoot too. I love it when everything comes together. The results are amazing! And I finally found a model to wear the pretty red shirt I bought. It looks so good on her.

Doesn't she look like "Kate" from LOST?

We found this underground stairwell...

One of my ABSOLUTE favorites...

Anticipation & Excitement...

I'm so excited for my model shoot with Kendra tomorrow. I have so many new ideas to try with this shoot and a new location too. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight, lol. The anticipation is killing me. It's like being a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa. It looks like the rain will hold out until the afternoon so we should be okay weather wise. I actually hope it is a little cloudy so I can take advantage of the soft, diffused light.

Check the bloggy blog tomorrow night for the latest imagery!

Renee - Urban Style

A fun and FABULOUS model shoot with Renee on Thursday. The weather was absolutely perfect, sunny and 65 degrees. We really captured some unique images during this shoot. I couldn't have asked for a better model. The shoot lasted about two hours and took place outdoors on the streets of Syracuse, downtown. I love shooting downtown and using the environment. Some of my personal favorites below.

Billy - Model Shoot

I love working with MODELS. I think it is because they are usually open to trying new things and letting me experiment with them.

This is Billy and he was wonderful to work with, professional, easy-going and fun! Hey, if you can't have some fun what's the point. Anyways here are some of my favorites from our Model Shoot in downtown Syracuse. It was a little chilly but we didn't let that slow us down.

Billy, you ROCK. I am looking forward to our next shoot together.

And check out his new site www.billysfitness.com.
