The Central New York Modeling Meetup group

The CNY Modeling Meetup group was formed by Syracuse photographer Bob Jones in January of 2008. The group is comprised of models, photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and wardrobe stylists from all across New York State and with skill levels ranging from amateur to professional. Bob's vision for the group was to bring models and photographers together in a non-threatening environment. The group currently has nearly fifty active members and continues to grow in the Syracuse area.

Studio Shoot with Morgan...

A fun model/mentoring shoot in my studio with Morgan and fellow photographer Marisa. We spent about four hours playing with poses, lighting and backgrounds.

Morgan always has the coolest clothes! She is your typical teenager who loves fashion, makeup and modeling. She's also a cheerleader!

We are already planning our next session which will take place outdoors in the beautiful Central New York snow. There will be snowboarding, skiing, nature, winter fashions and maybe even a snowball fight.

Group Model Shoot...

Wow! I've really been neglecting my model blog here lately! I'm back now and hopefully will find the time to update it at least once a week.

Here are some images from a group model shoot I attended a couple weeks ago. It was organized by friend, fellow photographer Kelly Abraham of K Glam Photo Studio. I had a lot of fun and captured some amazing images as well. The models were fabulous!!
